Bay Hill Course - Intelligence Report ⛳️

Welcome to this week's edition of the Drive. Our goal here is to help you break down the upcoming PGA event. This is one of my favorite weeks of the year, The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Bay Hill is a long course coming in @ 7,419 yards par 72, with water in play on 8/18 holes. .

💨 Wind won’t be too much of a factor this week, Sunday is the only day winds are suppose to be in the double digits. Given the length of the course, the water, and sand that is present there will be many golfers taking long irons into the greens this week. Shot placement and ball striking are key!

1. Tiger Woods (11.9k FD/10k DK) The effect this man has on golf and TV ratings is unreal! Last week he showed glimpses of the man who dominated the tour for years. He played well and will look to build on that this week at an event he has DOMINATED winning 8 times! Vegas favorite who isn’t in the top 3 in price will make him very chalky this week.

2. Justin Rose (12.2k FD/11.5k DK) He has played well in this event and this season overall. He has a win 3 top 5’s and 4 top 10’s in 5 events. This is another week I expect him in contention come Sunday. He is 8th in the field in putting and 4th is scrambling.

3. Rory McIlroy (11.5k FD/10.7k DK) From Avoid to stud status! I like the way this lines up for Rory, his recent struggles have come at courses that he has never competed at as a pro. He has played Bay Hill, and has played well at Bay Hill. He has made the cut in both trips to Bayhill with an average finish of 7th place. HUGE BOUNCE BACK WEEK!

Mid-Price Value Plays 💰

Bargain Barrel 🍀

1. David Lingmerth (7.6k FD/7k DK) once again I will stress the importance of finding guys who will play all weekend at this price point. He is 4/4 cuts at this event, though his overall form is not ideal his putter has been dependable.

2. Kevin Streelman (8.5k FD/7.1k DK) 6/6 on Cuts here and this season is hitting 72% GIR, all solid stats given his price.

It would not be a complete article if I didn’t tell you who I am avoiding. I like to go through and take guys out of the pool that I really don’t like THIS WEEK.
